unWait Technologies Inc. ("unWait", "we", "us") operates the unWait platform, a service that helps Canadians find earlier specialist appointments by monitoring cancellations and predicting openings. Our registered office is in British Columbia, Canada.

2. Information We Collect

• Account data — your name, email address, and password (hashed).
• Alert preferences — specialist type, preferred location, and date range you set for monitoring.
• Referral uploads — if you use Scan Referral, your image is processed in memory to extract form fields and is not stored on our servers.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and device/browser type for analytics and service improvement.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To send you appointment slot alerts via email or push notification.
• To personalize AI-powered search and predictions.
• To process payments for Pro subscriptions via Stripe.
• To improve the accuracy of our cancellation monitoring engine.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. PIPEDA Compliance

We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@unwait.ca.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is purged within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.

6. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — authentication and database (servers in Canada/US).
• Stripe — payment processing. We never store your card details.
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI features. Inputs are not used to train models.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication sessions only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
