1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using unWait, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms govern your use of the unWait platform operated by unWait Technologies Inc.

2. Not a Medical Service

unWait is not a medical service. We help you find earlier appointment slots with specialists — we do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always follow the guidance of your referring physician. In a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm you are a resident of Canada using the service for personal, non-commercial health navigation purposes.

4. Free and Pro Plans

  • Free Plan — includes basic appointment alerts, AI chat search, and access to public wait time data.
  • Pro Plan ($9.99 CAD/month) — includes all Free features plus priority monitoring, Scan Referral, Slot Predictor, Smart Notification Timing, and AI Insights. Billed monthly, cancel anytime.

We reserve the right to change plan pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Payments & Refunds

Pro subscriptions are processed via Stripe. Charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable Canadian consumer protection law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use unWait to scrape, resell, or commercialize appointment data.
  • Attempt to claim slots on behalf of others without their consent.
  • Interfere with the platform's technical systems or monitoring infrastructure.
  • Submit false or misleading information in your profile or alerts.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Appointment availability depends on clinic systems outside our control. We are not liable for missed appointments due to technical issues or clinic-side changes.
